DRA Partnership and NAIC Model Act Training Requirements

As of December 1, 2008, John Hancock and MedAmerica will begin moving toward accepting only courses completed through the ClearCert Provider Network.

Prior Completion
Courses completed prior to December 1st will be grandfathered (assuming the training is appropriate).
Transition Period
Between December 1st and January 1st, John Hancock and MedAmerica will allow a transition period during which courses taken from non-ClearCert trainers will be closelyreviewed to assure training is appropriate. Producers are strongly encouraged to select courses from approved training providers.
After January 1st, 2009
Except such providers as may be specified by each company, only ClearCert completions will be accepted.
